Bringing Fire is on a mission to level up the tech in tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons—a category that grew 31% in 2020, up from 23% growth the year prior, with the US and Canadian market reaching $105 million in 2020, according by ICv2.

the business of gaming

In addition to consulting on branding and content, I created the voice of Bringing Fire, working closely with its founders to refine messaging and creative as they prepare for the next stage.

Putting the master in game master

Bringing Fire targets game masters (GMs)—also known as “dungeon masters (DMs)”—ultra-passionate, alpha players who lead their gaming groups through epic, narrative-driven games (“campaigns”) that last anywhere from an evening to several years. They treat their games as a job, spending loads of time and money prepping and enhancing their sessions with a myriad of media, apps, and tools—most of which are spotty, unintegrated, and frankly, a pain to use. Bringing Fire has set out to change all that, making it easy to run epic campaigns.
